Indications:
Diabetain® is intended as an adjunct agent to help prescription medication to control blood sugar better and boost energy level for exercise. It is best used with metformin, insulin or with other diabetes drugs as a supplemental adjunct therapy agent.

American ginseng, a key component of the spheric proprietary blend, is an extract with a defined amount ginsenosides extracted with a defined proprietary solvent mix and dried with a proprietary spray dry technology to preserve the integrity of the ingredients, verified scientifically by RP-HPLC. The proprietary blended ingredients are incorporated with a proprietary technology. Other ingredients include Chromium, Cinnamon and Green Tea and 6 other elements and Vitamin B12.
Diabetain® Dosing:
Take one capsule 30 minutes before meals, two to three times daily, with a full glass of water. Exercise regularly 30-60 minutes three times a week. If unable to exercise, brisk walking can help.
Diabetain® Ingredients
Cassia (Cinnamomum burmannii) Bark, Extract, Ginsenosides (from American Ginseng Root Extract), Green Tea Leaf Extract, Lutein

Other Ingredients: Gelatin (capsule), Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Titanium Dioxide ( color), FD&C Red #3, and FD&C Blue # 1.
Possible Drug Interactions:
Diabetain® may lower blood glucose. Theoretically, concomitant use with antidiabetes drugs might enhance blood glucose lowering effects and possibly cause hypoglycemia. Monitor blood glucose levels closely.
Diabetain® may interfere with MAOI therapy.
Diabetain® may decrease the effectiveness of warfarin therapy. Healthy patients receiving warfarin 5 mg daily, who also take American ginseng 1 gram twice daily, have seen a significantly reduced international normalized ratio (INR). To avoid this potential interaction, patients should consult their doctor first before using Diabetain®.
Adverse Effects, Warnings and Precautions:
- Do not take if allergic to any individual ingredient.
- Not recommended for patients with hormone-sensitive cancers such as breast cancer, uterine cancer and ovarian cancer. Also not recommended for endometriosis, or uterine fibroids patients.
- Trouble sleeping (insomnia): If you have trouble sleeping, take Diabetain® before 6pm.
- Stop taking Diabetain® at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery.
- Stop taking Diabetain® if nosebleeds occur.
- Do not take Diabetain® if under 12 years of age.
- Diabetain® is a supplement, not intended to be used in place of your prescribed medications. Do not stop taking prescription drug(s) prescribed by your physician.
Storage:
Store in a cool place. For a best result, consume within three years from the manufacture date.
Clinical Data:
There are two clinical studies on Diabetain®conducted by physicians in the U.S.
On an average Diabetain® has shown to reduce A1C from 0.2 to as much as 1.00. A decrease of 1 in A1C is equivalent to a decrease of 35 mg/dl in fasting blood glucose when compared with placebo. A moderate decrease in lipids, blood pressure and weight was observed in some patients.
